OUR FUN SCRAPBOOK PAPER PROJECT FOR TODAY is “Stocking Stuffer Pencils”
This is such an easy scrapbook paper project. Use it for Christmas as a stocking stuffer, for a birthday party favor, or just about any time you need that fast little something …
Instructions: Start with a piece of scrapbook paper cardstock that is 3-1/4″ long by 1″ wide.
Score the cardstock — on the 3-1/4″ length — 1/4″ from the top, 1/2″ from the first score mark. 1″ from the second score mark. 1/2″ from the third score mark. There should be 1″ left to the end of this cardstock.
You should now have four (4) score marks on the cardstock. Put a hole punch in the center of each 1/2″ scored section. This is going to be where the pencil will go through the cardstock.
Fold the scored sections to make a square box. Tape or glue the 1/4″ piece to the 1″ piece of the other end which will form a little square box. (See the picture showing the side and back views.) The pencil should slide snug up through the holes to the top of the pencil. Use any punch to make a circle. Tape or glue the circle to the square side that has the 1/4″ lip. Attach any scrapbook paper embellishment of your choice to the circle. FINISHED …
