Labor of Love – Purple Lion Paper
A close-up view of the scrapbooking banner shows how I crinkled up a piece of matching paper, rubbed and ruffed up the edge with sandpaper. I then inked the edges, twisted the paper in the center and placed a scrapbook brad in the center.
As you can see — I used orange twine and used about 6 pieces to make a string for my banner. This is the same twine I used on another part of the banner.
I also used orange twine on this page and wrapped it around a couple of times on the left side of the page. Then I added some soft ribbon to create some interest.
Hope you liked our scrapbook layouts for this banner. Next stop is Sandie @ www.sandieshores.blogspot.com
Have a great day .. Happy scrapping

Shannon, first of all, this banner is amazing. I love how it was designed and your choices of paper and color are perfect. I also love the information you provided on how you made the bow on the first panel. I probably would not have noticed that it was paper. That is so clever. This is where it pays to read everything that the blogger writes. So many times I write a lot of things and I know a lot of it is skipped. Thank you for all your good info:) Thank you so much for all your hard work and for helping to make this blog hop a huge success. You ROCK!!
